I can't believe the year is over and that we're already a few days into 2022. I don't know about you, but I ate a lot of good food this year- and if my blog traffic has shown me anything- it's that you did too!

To recap an amazing year, I wanted to share the top 10 recipes from 2021- chosen by none other than you! Funny enough, a lot of these are recipes I shared in previous years, but that have become SGTO classics.
If you're looking for something to eat as we head into a new year, these recipes are here for you!
SGTO Top Ten Recipes of 2021
The 10 most popular recipes on SGTO in 2021!
To the surprise of no one, my viral Mushroom Wild Rice soup took first place for the second year in a row. Maybe it's that this recipe contains just 10 ingredients or that it can be made in one pot, but either way it's a clear winner year over year!
Another SGTO favorite from last year is this simple Vegan Fried Rice! It's one of those recipes that can be whipped up in just 30 minutes for a truly filling & delicious dinner. No wonder we couldn't get enough of this recipe in a year where simple was best.
This recipe/guide EXPLODED during the Holidays this year. It was so fun seeing all the ways you used citrus in your cocktails, Christmas decorations, or on top of delicious desserts.
Another favorite from last year that came back as a winner- this Pear Vanilla Gin Fizz! I think we may need to develop a few more gin cocktails this year since we are clearly fans over here.
As the second recipe I ever shared to SGTO, this tequila smash holds a special place in my heart. It's honestly one of the easiest cocktail recipes to make, but is a winner every time. This recipe was a huge hit during the Summer because it's just so refreshing!
Another simple dinner recipe for the win! Whenever I need something fast, easy, and delicious- I reach for this gnocchi pasta sauce. I'm so happy you all feel the same! 🙂
We all have these cookies to thank for the many SGTO sugar cookies I've made. These lemon cookies were the OG that sparked it all and remains the most popular cookie recipe on the blog month over month.
Another SGTO classic that went viral in 2020 still remains one of the most popular recipes! It's spicy, filling, flavorful, and- of course- simple to make.
This lo mein dish got a lot of love this year and it's pretty clear why. It's filled with fresh veggies, a super simple stir fry sauce, and the absolute best crispy tofu for a well rounded dinner.
One thing is clear- we all were craving our favorite Asian comfort food dishes this year! This peanut tofu was another popular recipe throughout the year and it doesn't hurt that it's also a super simple recipe with only 9 ingredients needed!
I also have to give a special shout-out to the top 5 posts created in 2021. While these haven't existed on SGTO for quite as long, they're slowly but surely becoming fan favorites.
